Learn bridge basics in a fun, relaxed environment

CONTINUING BEGINNER BRIDGE

A relaxed, fun course designed that builds on the Beginner Bridge course.

Tuesdays, 6 two-hour lessons from 9:45-11:45 AM, $72

ADVANCED BEGINNER BRIDGE – Declarer and Defender Play (In progress)

Wednesdays, 6 two-hour lessons from 9:45-11:45 AM, $72

ADVANCED BEGINNER BRIDGE – Defender Play

Wednesdays, 6 two-hour lessons from 9:45-11:45 AM, $72

December 19, January 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Put partner on lead, kill Declarer discards, second hand high or low, covering honors, unblocking, attitude signals.

ADVANCED BEGINNER BRIDGE – Declarer Play

Thursdays, 6 two-hour lessons from 9:45-11:45 AM, $72

December 20, January 3, 10, 17, 24, 31

Choosing a long suit to set up, ducking, positional value of honors, finesses, unblocking, creating entries, pulling trump, when to ruff, crossruffing.

(Fighting and Winning) THE PRE-EMPT WARS

Mondays, 5 ninety-minute lessons from 9:30-11:00 AM, $100

March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1

When (and how high) to pre-empt; what to do when partner pre-empts; how to handle opponents’ pre-empts; when (and when not) to double the opponents.

Restricted to 24 students.

Unless otherwise noted, classes require a minimum of eight (8) students.  Classes that do not attract the minimum enrollment one week prior to start will be cancelled by the instructor.
